I'm Kevin Johnston, a licensed real estate broker and the founder of Live North Real Estate. I've been in this business since 2013 — the same year I graduated from Detroit Catholic Central (I studied and gained by license while still in High School Classes) — and in the 13 plus years since, I've had the rare opportunity to see real estate from nearly every angle.

I started my career with Keller Williams, one of the largest and most respected brokerages in the country, where I learned the systems, disciplines, and client-first standards that still shape how I operate today. From there, I joined Allen Edwin Homes, the largest home builder in Michigan, where I gained deep experience in new construction, development, and working with buyers at scale. I then moved to a boutique independent brokerage before taking the step I'd been working toward for a decade — founding Live North Real Estate in 2023, marking ten years of licensed work in Michigan real estate.

Across this journey, I've been involved in more than $100 million in real estate volume, working with first-time buyers, seasoned investors, growing families, and clients navigating some of the most significant financial decisions of their lives. Every transaction has taught me something. Every client has made me better.
